Over time, we have had people claiming to provide herbal treatment without any proof of healing progress, but at Gosana’s, in collaboration with conventional medical practitioners, we are able to prove such claims through research, hence bringing about integration of cultural medicine with conventional medicine.
We endeavour to identify more herbalists willing to work with Gosana clinic as we assist them in the development of dosages, commercial processing, marketing, advising them on extraction methods and capacity- building them on various needs. As we do this, we are tapping generations of knowledge in concoctions and pounded herbs, guaranteed to treat various ailments.
Herbal medicine at Gosana Nature & Culture Reserve
Our herbalists are able to take you through a guided tour within the Reserve and point out to you the trees with curative values. They will be specific as to what part of the plants does what ! You will get a shock of your life time as to the multiple of medicinal plants that are in the reserve. Once in our clinic and at the showroom, you will definitely get more information.
As we collaborate with conventional medical practitioners, we are able to treat specific illnesses that are diagnosed through modern methods, manage diseases which have no conventional cure and avoid surgery where possible.
Our herbal clinic covers area of 4 acres and is rich in Neem tree population among other indigenous trees. The visionary of this Reserve is equally the founder of Good Samaritan Vision, with a total area of 14.25 acres with the Park/Reserve. The School and Reserve therefore are anticipated to generate enough income to run the orphanage as it grows in size and strength.
